1948 – HUMKO forms a chemical division.

1930 – HUMKO founded in Memphis, manufactured lard substitutes and oils.

1904 – Anderson Clayton, Co. founded in Oklahoma City. It later sacquired shortening manufacturer Mrs. Tucker's Foods.
