LILY WHITE
Crown® Lily White® Corn Syrup is a unique product in Canada. It is
the only water white corn syrup, is mildly sweet and is used in recipes where extra flavour and colour is not desired. It is also a staple with
food stylists and is often used in stage and movie productions as
a base for fake blood.
Lily White® also has a tremendous legacy with an 1898 registration
of use by The Brantford Starch Company Inc. The brand was acquired by The Canada Starch Company Inc. in 1913 and followed the same ownership trail as Crown corn syrup.
The Crown® branding was added to the Lily White® name in
the mid-90’s .
