Makes about 24 (2 inch) bars
MAZOLA® SIMPLICITY™ Olive or Canola
6 cups (1.5 L) crisp rice cereal or chocolate flavor crisp rice cereal
or a combination of ready-to-eat cereals*
4 cups (1 L) miniature marshmallows, divided
1 cup (250 mL) sugar
1 cup (250 mL) CROWN LILY WHITE® Corn Syrup
or BEEHIVE® Corn Syrup
1 cup (250 mL) creamy or chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup (125 mL) semisweet chips, melted
Spray 13 x 9-inch (33 x 23 cm) baking pan with cooking spray.
In large bowl combine cereal and 2 cups (500 mL) marshmallows;
set aside.
In medium saucepan combine sugar and corn syrup. Stirring occasionally, bring to boil over medium heat and boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until smooth. Pour over
cereal; stir to coat. Press evenly into prepared pan.**
Drizzle melted chocolate over cereal layer; top with remaining 2 cups (500 mL) miniature marshmallows.
Arrange rack in oven or broiler so that top of baking pan is about
4 inches (10 cm) from source of heat. Preheat broiler. Broil S'mores
10 to 30 seconds or just until tops of marshmallows are lightly browned.
