History
Old Tyme® was registered for use in Canada in 1916 by Quebec Maple Products Inc. Ownership transferred to the Canada Starch Company Inc. in 1991, to BestFoods Canada Inc. in 1998, to Unilever in 2000 and finally was acquired by ACH Food Companies, Inc. in 2002.
Old Tyme® table syrup offers great taste, flavour selection, texture and value for the money. Flavour choices are “Original” Maple, No Sugar Added and Butter.
Old Tyme’s ‘No Sugar Added’, with only 25 calories per serving has the lowest calories per serving of the leading brands in the market. The ‘No Sugar Added’ claim can be made if certain conditions are met, which include: The food contains no added sugars, no ingredients containing added sugars, or ingredients that contain sugars that functionally substitute for added sugars.
You may have noticed Old Tyme’s distinctive labels. Each flavour has
a scenic “Canadiana” label depicting some aspect of our great country.
