Old Tyme French Toast
Cook Time: 15 min.
1/2 cup (125 mL) milk
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon (1 mL) salt
2 tablespoons (30 mL) melted butter
4 slices bread, one day fresh
Old Tyme® Syrup original
Directions
Whisk together milk, eggs and salt in a shallow bowl. Melt butter
in a large skillet over medium heat. Dip one slice at a time into egg
mixture; let soak for 10 seconds on each side. Fry for 2 minutes
on each side or until golden brown.
Serve French toast with Old TymeŽ Syrup and seasonal fruit.
