World Class Waffles
Makes Four Round Waffles
2-1/4 cups (550 mL) all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons (45 mL) sugar
1 pkg Fleischmann's® Quick-Rise Yeast
3/4 teaspoon (3 mL) salt
2 cups (500 mL) very warm milk 120-130°F (50-55°C)
3 large eggs
1/3 cup (75 mL) butter or margarine, melted
2 teaspoons (10 mL) vanilla extract
Directions
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients in order listed; mix just until
blended. Cover; let rise in warm, draft-free place until doubled, about
1 hour.* Stir down batter; bake in hot, greased waffle iron until steaming stops and waffles are golden brown. Serve immediately with your
favourite toppings and drizzle with OLD TYME® Syrup.
* If desired, cover and refrigerate overnight.
